Privacy Policy

How Vermont Shul, with its messaging service operated by Data Sept, collects and uses contact and consent information for text updates.

Information we collect

When you request Vermont Shul text updates we collect your mobile number, your name if you choose to provide it, the date and time of your request, the page you submitted it from, the exact consent wording and version you agreed to, and — when available — your IP address and browser user agent.

How we use it

This information is used to run the Vermont Shul text updates program: to verify your consent, to let a shul administrator review and approve your request, and to send approved subscribers minyan times, zmanim, schedule changes, and shul announcements. Vermont Shul messaging is operated by Data Sept.

Sharing

Mobile opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may share data only with service providers needed to deliver the SMS program and when required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Your choices

You can stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP, and reply HELP for help. To ask what we hold about you or to have your information removed, email congvermont@gmail.com or call +1 (848) 600-6639.
